For Architects & Engineers
Solar for Architects, Engineers, and Construction Managers
Solar is a building system. We help you design it in, size it correctly, place its equipment, and document its compliance so it never comes back as a plan check comment or a redesign.
Architects inherit the solar requirement whether or not a solar contractor has been selected. The roof plan has to carry the required array, the electrical rooms have to hold the inverters and the battery, the structure has to carry the loads, and the compliance forms have to agree with the energy model. When that work happens without a solar partner, it happens twice.
Eventure works alongside architects, electrical and structural engineers, energy consultants, and construction managers as the solar member of the design team: we provide the calculation, the layout, the equipment data, and the coordination so the solar system is designed with the building rather than onto it.
What you get
A solar partner who attends the coordination meetings, owns the scope from the Energy Code calculation to permission to operate, and keeps solar off the critical path to your Certificate of Occupancy.
What Matters to You
Six things we deliver on every project.
Early sizing you can design to
We provide the Energy Code PV and battery calculation at schematic design, with the Solar Access Roof Area analysis, so the roof plan is designed to the number rather than checked against it later.
Roof layouts and aesthetics
Array zones, module orientation, fire access pathways, and equipment screening are laid out with you so the roof reads as designed from the street and from above.
Equipment placement
Inverters, batteries, disconnects, and metering get locations, clearances, and ventilation worked out with the electrical engineer and the fire authority before the plan set is issued.
Structural coordination
Array dead loads, canopy columns, and attachment points are provided to the structural engineer at the right time.
Compliance documentation
We coordinate with the energy consultant so the compliance forms, the energy model, and the installed system match, and the Certificate of Installation is ready at closeout.
Plan check and redesign avoidance
Solar and storage submittals are prepared to move through plan check with the building permit, not behind it.
Phase by Phase
What we do, and when.
| Project phase | Eventure's work |
|---|---|
| Schematic design | Energy Code calculation, SARA analysis, preliminary array zones, battery and inverter space needs |
| Design development | Array layout, roof coordination with mechanical, fire pathways, structural loads, electrical room layout |
| Construction documents | Final drawings and specifications, single-line coordination, compliance forms with the energy consultant |
| Plan check | Responses to solar, electrical, and fire comments; revisions coordinated with the set |
| Construction administration | Submittal review support, RFIs, field coordination, inspection documentation |
| Closeout | Certificate of Installation, as-builts, monitoring and O&M documentation for the owner |
The Process
Concept to closeout.
Concept
Preliminary sizing, roof and parking strategy, utility territory, budget range.
Design
Energy Code calculation, Solar Access Roof Area analysis, array zones, equipment space.
Engineering
Structural loads, electrical single-line, battery location, fire pathways, single point of coordination.
Title 24 Coordination
Compliance forms aligned with the energy model; PV and battery documented for plan check.
Permitting
Solar and storage submittals move with the building permit; plan check comments closed in one cycle.
Procurement
Modules, inverters, racking, and batteries ordered against the construction schedule with lead times tracked.
Installation
Rough-in with the electrical sub, attachments with the roofer, array and equipment set on sequence.
Utility Coordination
Interconnection application filed during design; metering, witness tests, and permission to operate pursued in parallel.
Inspection
Attachment, electrical, and fire inspections scheduled against milestones; Certificate of Installation completed.
Commissioning
Performance verification, monitoring activated, controls and battery settings confirmed.
Project Closeout
Permission to operate, as-builts, warranties, O&M documentation, and turnover before the Certificate of Occupancy.
Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Can Eventure provide the Title 24 PV and battery calculation during schematics?
Yes. We prepare the Section 140.10 or Section 170.2 calculation, including the Solar Access Roof Area analysis and the floor-area method, and coordinate it with the project's energy consultant.
How do you handle aesthetics?
Array placement, module selection, mounting profile, and equipment screening are design decisions we make with you. Where the roof cannot carry the requirement cleanly, carports and secondary structures are often the better answer.
Do you coordinate with the structural and electrical engineers?
Yes. We provide loads, attachment details, equipment data, and single-line input at the stage each engineer needs it.
What happens at plan check?
We respond to solar, electrical, and fire comments on the solar scope and coordinate revisions with your set so the comments close in one cycle.

Get Eventure Involved Early
Discuss your project with a new construction solar specialist.
Send us a massing study, a schematic set, or a permit set. We will review the Title 24 requirement, the roof, the electrical approach, and the schedule, and tell you what needs to happen and when.
