In LADWP service territory, we deliver EV charging as part of solar carport projects under the utility's Carport and Canopy Incentive program, which promotes renewable energy built over parking areas. The canopy generates revenue through the feed-in tariff, the incentive improves project economics, and the chargers come with the package.

LADWP Carport and Canopy Requirements
The program sets minimum EV charger deployment as a share of parking stalls, based on location and rebate participation.

New carport or canopy construction within LADWP territory qualifies; intent to apply must be stated in the program application. DC fast chargers can substitute for multiple Level 2 units. Program terms set by LADWP and subject to change.
