Orange County

New Construction Solar in Orange County

Orange County builds master-planned communities, corporate campuses, and large multifamily at a scale few regions match. Eventure works with the county's developers, architects, and general contractors to bring solar into those projects early, from Irvine's office and R&D parks to the hospitality and retail corridors along the coast and the industrial inland.

What Is Different Here

Regional details that shape the solar scope.

01

Utility mix

Most of the county is served by Southern California Edison. Anaheim operates its own municipal utility, and parts of south Orange County are served by San Diego Gas & Electric. Each has its own interconnection process and tariffs.

02

Master-planned communities

Large-scale residential and mixed-use communities benefit from community-wide solar standards and early utility coordination, which we plan with master developers.

03

Campus and office projects

Corporate campuses in Irvine and surrounding cities combine office, amenity, and parking buildings where carports often carry the capacity.

04

Markets we serve

Irvine, Anaheim, Santa Ana, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Fullerton, Orange, Tustin, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, and south county.

Utilities

Southern California Edison, Anaheim Public Utilities, SDG&E (south county)

The serving utility determines the interconnection process, the export compensation, metering requirements, and the timeline. We identify the utility at concept and file the interconnection application during construction documents so utility review runs parallel to construction.
